“That’s just the hand I’ve been dealt.”
You’ve no doubt heard that saying many times. It implies that you are bound to a certain fate, regardless of intervention.
How much do we accept as fate in our own lives? How much do we chalk our circumstances down to “just the hand we’ve been dealt”?
One of the most powerful things God ever bestowed upon His greatest creation (that’s you ) was free will – the power to choose. The choices we make can lead us down paths that end in death or paths that end in life, and we are the only ones who will have to give an account of the choices we make. The good news is that we can choose to change direction at any time!
