All through the ages, God has spoken to His people. The Bible is littered with promise after promise spoken over the people of God and one by one we see those promises fulfilled. But a promise is not simply possessed without perseverance. In those same stories, we often see a fight for that promise to come to pass. There’s usually a passage of time between the promise spoken and the promise fulfilled. And within that time there are several obstacles that need to be overcome for the fulfilment of that promise. God still speaks today. What has He personally promised you in your life? Have those promises been fulfilled? If not, are you still hanging onto them, or have you let them go?
