Life can be defined as a series of moments, all strung together to form a web of events marking our journey between birth and death. There are moments of joy and moments of sadness, moments of victory and defeat, frustration and elation, hurt and healing. Many of these moments are minor and inconsequential, but then you get a handful of moments that are truly defining – the death of a loved one, the diagnosis of a debilitating disease, a disabling accident or an intensely traumatic experience. It’s those moments, when everything seems to be falling apart, that we’re presented with a choice – draw close to God, or turn away. Stick to the plan, or begin to question it and make plans of our own. Jean-Pierre Gonneau shares his journey through heartache into healing, alongside the God who works all things together for good, for those who love Him.
